Janelle Wankum has 10 years of social media experience ranging from direct response marketing with Nutrisystem to brand and community building with Wawa. She specializes in developing goal driven strategy and execution. Janelle offers tailored solutions to help clients harness the power of social media and digital marketing to drive successful business results.
Janelle graduated from University of Pittsburgh where she spent a semester studying abroad in Barcelona and traveling throughout Europe and Africa. Upon graduation, Janelle started her career at Nutrisystem where she gained well-rounded experience from managing organic social media, founding their influencer marketing program, participating in TV production shoots, and running paid social campaigns.
When the opportunity to join Wawa came around, Janelle jumped into leading their social community management efforts and quickly put her experience to work launching Wawa's first influencer marketing program, and began managing social media campaigns related to sports sponsorships, in-store promotions, public relations, local marketing, custom swag, and community brand building.
Janelle lives in Bucks County, PA with her daughter, husband and black lab Rogue, who's name suits him. She loves to practice yoga, cook, bake banana chocolate chip muffins and spend time with her nieces and nephews.
