Alexandria Hammond,
Public Relations Expert

Alexandria Hammond is a seasoned storyteller and strategic communications leader, and the Principal of BrandNEWS PR Consulting Firm, a boutique PR and branding agency that helps businesses, creators, and innovators amplify their voices and drive measurable impact. With 20 years of experience, she has shaped brands and executed campaigns that resonate — from orchestrating red carpet events and media tours to leading content creation, media training, and thought leadership initiatives.

Alex played a pivotal role on the PR team that helped transform The Elf on the Shelf® into a household name and later led external communications for Rothman Orthopaedics, elevating the largest orthopedic practice in the U.S. through national PR campaigns, video production, and strategic content development. Her diverse background includes work with notable brands such as the New York Rangers, the Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation, and organizations across the healthcare, nonprofit, sports, and lifestyle sectors.

In addition to leading BrandNEWS, Alex serves as an adjunct professor at Camden County College, where she brings real-world experience into the classroom to inspire the next generation of business leaders. She holds a B.A. in Sociology and Women’s Studies from Rutgers University and an M.S. in Sport Management from Drexel University. A New Yorker at heart, she has grown to love the Philadelphia area — from its food scene to the energy of having all major sports venues in one place. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, long walks with her German Shepherd, true-crime podcasts, cooking, and Orangetheory workouts.
