AMANDA BYRD NAMED POV SPORTS MARKETING ACCOUNT COORDINATOR


WAYNE, Pa. (Aug. 21, 2020) – POV Sports Marketing welcomes Amanda Byrd to serve as Account Coordinator, supporting both the brand account team and SponsorshipEdge property services group. She is the latest addition to the women-owned agency that specializes in sports marketing brand consulting, property sponsorship sales strategy, venue and market analysis, rate card valuation and inventory development.

Byrd joins POV from Jack Morton Worldwide, a global brand experience agency, working out of their Los Angeles office. During her tenure as Regional Market Associate, she supported Chevrolet’s west coast experiential marketing efforts and managed key partnerships with teams such as the MLB Arizona Diamondbacks, MLB Los Angeles Angels and MLS LA Galaxy.

Her professional experience is complemented by her graduate studies, having most recently earned her dual MBA and Masters in Sports Administration from Ohio University. During her time at OU, she served as the University Athletics Corporate Partnerships Coordinator and completed several consulting projects with organizations including the NFL Las Vegas Raiders, Lagardѐre, NFL Cincinnati Bengals and Super Bowl LIII.

Byrd launched her sports marketing career as a student at James Madison University, where she worked in both Athletics Communications and Facilities & Events. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Recreation Management and was a founding member of the university’s Association for Women in Sports Media chapter.
