Amanda Byrd,
Senior Manager, Partnership Strategy & Activation

Amanda returns to POV after two years as the Sports Marketing Lead for TransPerfect, managing their global partnerships portfolio including LPGA, World Cup and NCAA College Football bowl game sponsorship. Prior to her experience with POV, Amanda worked for Jack Morton Worldwide, a global brand experience agency, managing the experiential marketing efforts for Fortune 500 brands. In this role, her responsibilities included overseeing six figure partnerships in the professional sports, entertainment and country music festival space.

Previously, Amanda earned her dual master degrees in sports and business at Ohio University. She served as Ohio University Athletics Corporate Partnerships Coordinator and completed consulting projects for organizations including the Las Vegas Raiders, Lagardѐre Sports, Cincinnati Bengals and Super Bowl LIII.

Amanda started her career in college athletics as an undergraduate student at James Madison University, where she worked in Athletics Communications as well as the Facilities and Events office. Additionally, she served as a founding board member of the school’s chapter for the Association for Women in Sports Media, serving as President her senior year. She graduated from JMU in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Recreation Management.

Amanda currently resides in Raleigh, North Carolina.
